Spiked Strawberry Lemonade

fresh strawberries 

strawberry flavored drink mix packet* (secret ingredient and key!)

In a blender, blend about 1.5 - 2 cups of vodka (about 375 millimeters) with nearly an entire package of fresh strawberries; setting some whole strawberries aside for garnish. Pour contents of strawberry-vodka mixture into a pitcher. Pour in lemonade and add only about half a packet of strawberry flavored drink mix. Stir until blended. Serve chilled with ice and a whole strawberry garnish. 

*The drink mix is used to enhance the strawberry flavor because fresh strawberries often soak up the flavor of whatever they're submerged in (i.e. vodka).
